I don't make my living with graphics, I just like to play with Modo, Vue and Blender. Octane with its a little bit grainy images and depth of field offers exactly the image quality I normally would add in postwork. Therefore I thought I will support them and buy a license at last ...

Some feedback to Octane 1.02beta:

I am glad to see Octane on the Mac. Unfortunately on my two year old MacPro with DDR2 I would have to pay more then 500 Euro to get a old Nvidia graphics. Therefore I use my new MacBook Pro Unibody 2.6GHz.
