Like acc24ex, I am a long time octane user, beta and 3ds max alpha tester. And a yearly paid subscription model means a "goodbye octane" for me. I am a teacher (I have free 3dsmax license) and a hobbyist and cannot afford to pay 200/year in advance to continue playing with octane.

Hi, I just wanted to try cinema4d and the plugin for v4, as I thought on jumping ship from 3ds max. I thought I read in the main v4 standalone thread that all the plugins would be free for all licensed users, but Octane license system is telling me otherwise. Am I mistaken about this? thank you

IsOctane going to be an alternate to the "Build Lighting" protocol, meaning instead of using UE4's own light builder we will also have the option to use an Octane Plugin to run the light building?

Can someone please be so nice to do a set of proper tutorials/instructions for rendering different effects with PhxFD and octane.

There is a Beauty pass called Reflection Filter, also a Reflection pass and a Reflection indirect and a Reflection direct one.
