Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) 2.23.1 [TEST]
Would it be possible to have the plugin ask which version to launch when you select "Open HDR Light Studio"? I'm finding that there are many times when I'd much rather use version 4, especially for simple setups. This is not a trivial change, because the HDR Light Studio loader process done in the ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) 2.23.1 [TEST]
Hi Paul - I have both HDR Light Studio versions 4 and 5. Would it be possible to have the plugin ask which version to launch when you select "Open HDR Light Studio"? I'm finding that there are many times when I'd much rather use version 4, especially for simple setups.

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) 2.22.2 [TEST]
I'm having a problem with the Plugin when out of core memory is used and it seems to be related to HDR Light Studio. (All my specs are in the signature). This explanation is going to be a little convoluted so please bear with me. Using version 2.2.22.42 everything worked fine, even when using quite ...

Re: problem with displacement maps in m4
In that picture the balloon effect is most noticeable in the nose. I've had this issue also, but now that you've mentioned setting the offset to negative one-half of the height value, I've done a quick test using the same displacement maps as the original poster and it seems to fix it. :)

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) 2.06 [STABLE]
I can now reproduce this - thanks. I will post a fix for this shortly.
Thank you Paul! :D
I have this same issue also. Moving the light before changing the value will prevent this from happening. My version of HDR Light Studio is: 4.3.20131206.1249, Current Plugin: Poser v1.0.3 I still cannot ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) 2.06 [STABLE]
Why does "Reconvert Materials for this Prop/Figure from Poser" now require a "Refresh the Octane Scene from Poser"? to show the changed materials on skin or clothing or any material that you change in the poser scene.
It never use to and restricts workflow. I cannot replicate this problem. Which ...

Re: RedSpec TGX Wet Beta
I missed this part of your post until now. Is it specific to V4/V6 because of the custom wet maps? If so, is it safe to assume it will work with M4 if we use our own M4 wet maps?TRRazor wrote:These are complete figure .poc-files for V4 and V6;
