The problem of octane standalone failing to render more than around 40 million polygons still exists in alpha 9 as reported in various threads including this one :

Re: To Titan X users. Help
I have the same problem in Octane Standalone 3 alpha 7.
When I was trying to see if I could fit a CAD model of around 55 million polygons on a TitanX at work, I noticed that around 40 million polygons it would just give up. ( I have memory to spare as you can see on the screenshots attached below ...

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 3.00 alpha 6 [latest 3.xx]
Hi everyone!
We needed a new computer at the office, so I managed to convince them to buy a Titan X card so that we could try if Octane maybe could be something we could use in upcoming projects. ( it usually involves CAD files of around 55 million polys, thats why I wanted to try with the Titan X ...

Re: Pivotpoint of imported objects in standalone
Almost 300 views and not a single take on this?.. Not even a RTFM or anything..
I just want my pivotpoint in the center of the object I imported.

Pivotpoint of imported objects in standalone
Hi!
Tried searching the forums before posting this but couldnt find anything about it except some old whislisht of features for 1.2.
Is it just me doing something wrong or does all imported geomerty via .obj into octane standalone get their pivotpoint at the origin?
Im exporting from 3dsmax and ...

How important is memory clockspeed on the GPU?
Hi!
Im thinking of buying a computer with a couple of gtx titan cards.
I noticed that the Gainward GTX Titan card has half the memory clockspeed of the EVGA GTX Titan for example.
So my question is: How important is the memory clockspeed for rendering with Octane?
Thanks In advance for any reply
