I've searched and could not find a good resource of octane materials. I currently work with v-ray and I've just bought a octane license wich I'm enjoyng a lot. But I fell lack of a good resource or material and also the manual is not deep about it.

So I'd like to know what about we ...

How does the Octane manages the memory? I would be able to use only 1,5 GB if I buy the GTX 590?
Here in america I can find only the GTX 580 1,50 Gb nobody sells the Gainward GTX 580 Phantom 3GB here.
How is the memory usage if i have 2x GTX 480 for example? I would have only 1,5Gb avaliable?

I've just intaled de octane demo on my pc, but when I try to load any mesh on it, it crashes, I tried several files and it is always the same.
My system is:
Asus p6T se motherboard.
i7 950 @ 3,06 ghz
6gb ram
Nvidia Geforce 9400 gt 1gb
And nvidia cuda drivers 3.0
