24hour Project

Hello all,

I have finally been able to post my latest project. I only had 24 hours to work on this project.
Before I started I decided to screen capture my next project and was really glad that this was a quick 24 hour project to have a look over the way I modelled and took on the project.
I ...

Re: Overlapping Art Forms

Ycarry I am sorry you feel this is an attempt at spam, I really am. That was not my intention at all.
This is the Off topic forum and this is off topic but still relates to what forums are all about.
In my defence I just wanted to show how important constructive criticism yes and how we should ...

Re: MG Magnette K3 (1934)

Absolutely great modelling. The attention to detail has really made the model look realistic.
I agree with radiance about putting it into a 3d scene to really show it off, but then the scene really has to be done well.
But this is really something to keep in the portfolio, its a keeper.

Re: Sculptris

Hey Alain,
I had never heard of Sculptris before, so thanks for bringing it up. Can't believe it is for free!
I am going to try it out for some organic modelling.
Is it just me or is there an issue with the mapping on the shoulders?
Also the eyes are a bit creepy for me, doesn't seem to fit with the ...

Overlapping Art Forms

I just wanted to share this with you creative people out there. My sister is a writer and she just posted an article about commenting on each others work.
It is so important to get different opinions and perspectives on your work and progress of work.
Now I don't mean going to a total stranger and ...

Re: New Jersey (Interior scene) *Updated*

I am going to comment on the render newJersey17_comp01.png as it looks over most of your scene.
You have really filled the scene quite well and makes the house seem like it is being used if you know what I mean.
Here are some suggestions that I came up with while looking at the image for quite a ...

Re: Paris, Table, Chairs And Cigarettes

Yes I agree with the nice atmosphere. I just don't like that you have the same painting next to each other.
About the modelling, I don't really think it is top secret knowledge and its only shared to a selected few.
Modelling is like anything creative. There are basics and rules to apply to but the ...

Re: New York rooftop patio

@Draydin_r, I totally argree with the level of detail on the buildings surrounding the main area. I must admit I didn't put enough effort into the textures. I only worked with textures for one day and didn't really uvmap correctly as I did it more for speed then accuracy. That is the major flaw I ...

New York rooftop patio

Hello all,

This week I have been working on a new scene. The main reason for this scene was to see the differences between Blender Internal render and Octane.
Of course Octane came up on tops but it was really nice to see the final outcomes.

If you would like to see some more information about ...
