Hello everybody,
I am having this strange issue that the A/B comparison in the liveviewer is not showing a stored image but instead stays black.
Although when I do change the color space at the top of the LV from "OCIO" back to "LDR/sRGB" everything works fine again at least in a basic scene.
But ...

Devices preferences "image" checkbox, what is it for?
Hello everybody,
maybe I have missed this in one of the update changelogs, but what exactly is the "Image" checkbox in the OctaneRender devices preferences for?
The Documentation does not seem to have it included yet, therefore I suppose it must be something rather new.

I suppose you were not referring to my question or maybe the link was wrong? As the link covers the topic "Triplanar mapped bump problem - gamma issue?"aoktar wrote:Please take a look

Re: OctaneRender™ 2020.2.3 [current 2020.2]
Somehow the "OctaneRender Enterprise 2020.2.3 Standalone for Windows (installer)" does not seem to be working on Windows 10. The EXE does not seem to be doing anything. Any ideas?

Re: [FIXED] "Invisible" light still casts shadows
Via Brent Vowles and Raphael Rau pointing me in the right direction on facebook I found that the culprit was that I had set the lightsource´s type to texture.
Setting it to blackbody, changing it´s opacity to "0" and enabling "transparent emission" was the sollution.

Re: "Invisible" light still casts shadows
Thanks Jay for your suggestion :) but moving the lights causes some of their reflection on the model to be at least partially clipped by the floor.
Attached you can find an extreme example:

[FIXED] "Invisible" light still casts shadows
Hello everybody,
similar to this thread https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=61606 I have a problem with "invisible" lights still casting a shadow onto another object. But different to that thread I cannot set the lights opacity to 0 as I still want it to be visible in reflections.
