Yeah, the platonic object was just so thick, that it looked as a solid object from shadow perspective. I've tested with thinner object and it works OK.

Photon Kernel - enabling fake shadows cause no caustics?
Hi!

I found out, that when i tick fake shadows to get proper shadows for specular object, caustics don't show.
I did a screenshot (attached) to show my settings and render result.
Is that known problem or I just missing something?
I've checked in Octane Standalone and same ...

There is a shader failure (object renders completely black) when autobump is enabled in VERTEX Displacement.

It appears that LV render preview limits its spp to ~50. when using render region tool. It happens only when Crypto passes are enabled in render settings.
