Thanks Juanjo,
My friend Julian finally came up with a solution that proved to be remarkably simple. He simply increased the scale of the clip map. Image attached. Thanks for your help re the Update materials etc.

Envelope a clip map
Is it possible to envelope a clip map with LW 2019 and Octane v4? The attached image shows it working fine in native VPR with a slope on the V offset but I can't figure out how to do the same in Octane. Any ideas gratefully received!

Re: License failure
Yes, talking to support now.
Thanks for the link. I guess that I just dial the opacity of one surface channel down to 0?

Re: License failure
Hi Juanjgon,
Still not working. The standalone is showing 'Active on computer' 'Does not have all access'. Internet connection fine.
Please can you you point me to the node you referred to - I'll try it when my system is running again.
Thanks

License failure
I was using LW and Octane quite happily this morning. Suddenly this afternoon Octane flags a license warning saying that it could not find the required license! I have Octane on only one machine and this problem occurred even after a restart. Please see attached image.

Re: Texture inversion when using Sun Control - bug?
Hi Juanjgo,
Thanks for your reply. I fully understand what you say about sun direction. Having restarted my machine the problem has gone away! But as can be seen from the original 2 pictures there is a difference - one shows dark crests, the other shows dark crevices. Reloading the IPR didn't help ...

Texture inversion when using Sun Control - bug?
Hi,
I'm getting a texture inversion simply by switching Long-Lat-Date to Direction. The 2 attached pics have no other adjustments. Any ideas please?

IPR preview window crash
I'm using LW 2015.3 and the 4.0 Octane plugin, and when enlarging the window (clicking and dragging lower right corner), the program completely crashes. This didn't happen with v3. Any ideas?
