I got octane 3.004 working for tfd again finally, the activiation crash bug for v 3.006 still happens though. Not sure why either.

Everytime I load version 3.006 it causes octane to crash on activation. version 3.004 works fine. I am trying to use TFD. Unfortunately 1401 is no longer available so I tried to use version 1403 i get a version mismatch error.

wire/web graphics with octane poly hair
I am trying to set up wire graphics in octane but i noticed when i convert a subd cub into 2 point poly chains, and then add the octane poly hair function I get a missing poly chain from the graphic. Please advise.

Well that is my question, metaballs are such an old technology but still active in lightwave. In modeler when you activate metaballs around points it generates a mesh. The higher the metaball resolution the smoother the triangulated mesh. These points can then be carried over into layout and be ...

There is a bug in the polygonal hair materials function in the 2.6.1 build. It is always rendered white.
I can send to you a custom build with this problem fixed. Let me know your LW and Windows version.
