Do you see watermark on IPR/render ?

No I do not. I can do an F9 render and it renders at the correct resolution. This is in the IPR preview window. While it used to be filling the window at different sizes now it's fixed at the bottom left. It's always 1/4 of the IPR Preview window.

Octane render resolution not right

For some reason it looks like my octane IPR render window has switched back to the fixed demo resolution size. I've checked an my subscription is is good until 08/2024.

I checked the Licenses Management under the Octane Live tab in the Plugin Options and it's also says the license is until Aug 05 ...

here's when I changed the left pane of glass IoR to 1.0001

the red light instantly becomes visible. Also the GPU ram used stats at the bottom change and actually go down while the CPU ram jumps up.

By 'dissolve perameter' do you mean the Shape Opacity on the light settings panel? If so the answer is no it doesn't.
I made a quick test scene.

Light Reflection

So I have a few octane lights in a scene. Some behind a glass surface and some in front.

I have them all set to 'unseen by camera' as I don't want to see the lights emitters. Just the lighting they are casting like in invisible light-bulb.
If the index of refraction of the glass is greater than 1 ...

Since I've been using Octane almost exclusively since in became available for LW I've only enver used octane surfacing nodes and I love it. Activating VPR is now an accident when it happens.

With LW 2018 surfacing being PBR now I am starting to get confused about which render engine I should be ...

strange glitch

So I'm working away with the IPR window active. I am using the PMC Kernel. I open the render target node editor and create a Info channel node. Before I connect the node I set it to Ambient Occlusion. The IPR instantly changes to Ambient Occlusion. But the node is not connected yet.

I figured there might be custom calculations going on. I don't use the stand alone octane app and I never tried to import a scene from lightwave into it.

So far this works works to quickly get something into my occulus. And it kind of works since what is in front of me is more important than the ...
