Hi there,
Digging out this thread to tell that this problem is still occurring with latest octane (and XP) build.
render time with mblur on XP sim increase overtime without any perceptible reason.
in the LiveViewer, each frame render around the same time ( 20/22 sec in my case ) but during the ...

octane LiveViewer constantly crash
Hi there !
I got a problem since a while with octane, the LiveViewer constantly crash when it's turned on and it tries to update itself when I modify things in shaders (or environenement tag).
And it's not crashing once in a while, it crashes systematically after a few refresh ( 2 or 3 ) during ...

Re: Octane crash after a few seconds in new computer
Hi ! thanks a lot for your feedback on this matter, I just changed GPU and updated to 555.99 studio drivers, then also got octane freezing after a few second on every sessions. Reverted randomly to 551 from january and it works perfectly.

Re: IPR looping bug
well after restarting c4d, it stopped doing this. Currently IPR is working, until next time ;)
yeah well in fact I got to tap several time randomly between the "Send and restart render", the "restart render" and the "pause render" buttons, and at stop point it stops looping freneticaly during the ...

IPR looping bug
Hi !
I got a (annoying) problem here, I got a scene that can't render itself in the IPR, it just do very fast render loops when starting to preview with this line flickering on the top left corner, why is that ? and what can I do ?

Re: particles rendered as Geo -> control over geo objects
to stay on the xparticles topic,
does anybody experience very bad stability with octan live viewer and (heavy) xparticles scene ? i'm still on an average of 15 xdl64 crashes a day, which is very bad... Arnold and redshift are much more stable on this usage, does xparticles handling is something ...

Re: particles rendered as Geo -> control over geo objects
Hi frankmci !
yes that actually a method that I came across in the past days, seems to work great ! however is there any difference in calculation method to calculate/display those geos ? anyway i'll test that method and compare with tag one, on a millions+ particles setup
thanks for the help ...

Re: particles rendered as Geo -> control over geo objects
I don't think I can use particles as source object for cloner in a typical xparticles setup, i'm using an octane tag on the XParticle emitter, and put geometries in the rendering tab (as shown in the capture),
so I don't know what I could do of a cloner or where it can be inserted somewhere in this ...

particles rendered as Geo -> control over geo objects
Hi !
I'm working frequently with xparticles and use a lot the ability to render particles as geometry objects, works great.
However I think there is no control over the object scattering whatsoever ? (actually as in the scatter object) like adding a layer of control would be great (size variation ...
