i d like to hide the reference instance item who is in the center of my scene
if i move the root instance object, all the others move to his pivot, and i don t like it

On your screen shot u can see the facets faces from the half right part of the lense.
When you render the image, this part is smooth.
And when you re open the ipr after the first render the same part become smooth.
The first ipr don t show this part smooth but with facets like your image above.

j ai regardé ta scene, en effet on a ce probleme dès qu on ouvre l ipr
mais dès que tu lances un rendu puis tu ré ouvres l ipr le probleme disparait. L ipr montre le bon lissage qu a ce moment la.
je ne vois pas pourquoi par contre ...

is there someone to tell me how i can choose the same value color between octane palet color and lightwave color palet
for me the value is the same but i see a diferent result over my monitor between the octane rgb node and the lightwave color

i only use stable version (even if is always in progress) i m only with the officiale update even if i use some daily update sometime
i m in production, i dont want play a game with my clients

More i use octane in my pipeline, less i m reassured... Sounds always in BETA.
We re in real production, and we need to be retro compatible
i don t want blam the Octane krew but he must understand the economic reality of theirs customers.
