Re: House in Casablanca
Thanks for the feedback. I was going for a calm night with no wind. That's why the water is the way it is. As for the couches they are to scale but the lamps may be a bit too big. I do see that something seems off there. I'll be more careful next time!

House in Casablanca
Here's a project I finished last week.
Rendered in PMC.
I used forest pack for some of the trees, the grass, and the tiles on the roof.
I'd be happy to answer any questions and of course criticism is welcome any day every day

So to explain quite quickly it is not a face with alpha opacity. It actually is scattered geometry.
I did this using the forest pack pro plugin by Itoo Software. You don't need this specific plugin as there are other plugins that can scatter instances without blowing up the ...

House in Belgium
House in Belgium is a project for a client. I am not the architect but I did help some with the design process.
I focused a lot on the materials and the overall composition of the images. I was going to add furniture inside but I didn't have time so maybe next time!
Not much post processing on the ...

Re: Unwrap UVW and missing texture
I feel you man.
I can't ever get any complex unwrapping done in Octane because of this.
I haven't found a work around. I don't know if someone has but that would be really cool.
All I do with my textures in octane with the unwrap modifier is the normal mapping in the UV editor and a few other ...

Re: Weird shaded triangles and faces when rendering
My dude you are a genius.
Go tell someone that you deserve a hug and make sure they give it to you.
My scene was indeed very very far for the center of the scene.
I put it in the middle of the scene and boom shakalaka it was fixed.
Thanks a million times, now I can actually move on the the more ...
