Re: Flat over the land

Hi Enrico,

I'd love to know the details of the shader for the carpet. Is it separate geometry on something like Zbrush or displacement or something more complicated?

I tried an SSS type shader but it comes out looking a bit thin.

Re: A dynamic cloth creator for Daz

I bought it this evening and I can confirm that you can actually convert imported geometry to dynamic cloth i.e. it does really work.
I can't (so far) however, get it to collide with the characters so the cloth just falls to the floor. There has to be some setting I'm missing. But it looks like it's ...

Thanks

You should have a credit so you get the 2.x upgrade for free. But I'd send a message to fooze if I was you and ask to be sure because you might have bought it too late. Best to check.

Re: tonysculptor skin R20

Scale makes a huge difference. Tony's works out of the box on real life scale (as far as I understand it) so if your model is not real life scale then you need to change various different parameters to fit your model's scale.

e.g. if the scatter is high and your model is small then you will see a ...

Re: OcDS 2.1 PRE RELEASE 5th

So far it looks pretty good.
The 4th release ended up with some of the geometry bugs back in. (i.e. if you posed a character the clothing and/or hair would rotate at wierd angles).
Also the 4th release had a wierd setup with seamless textures - they didn't show up correctly and I couldn't figure out ...

Re: OcDS 2.1 PRE RELEASE 2nd

Kind of geometry displacement problem happening with genesis characters.
With hair that's been imported to DAZ as .OBJ (bought on renderosity) and then parented to the head joint, if the genesis character is posed with the head tilted at an angle, the hair overshoots and rotates at a wild angle.

I can confirm that saving and loading octane materials with .duf works as posted.
