Re: Instant crash on attempted use...

It can crash at random points (material editing for example) at least what I got after several tests with various models.

If the program crashes directly after the obj loading I guess it's due to an overload, too many polygons or ram exceeded.
But the demo scenes should indeed work without problems ...

I like that! :)
Gives a very clean histogram without peaks in white (overexposed).

Great images ribrahomedesign!

In VRay-Rt the interactivity is very fast with 10+ rendernote.
Maybe I'm wrong but there VrayRT uses (currently) only CPU there is no real comparison with a GPU Renderer like Octane.

Re: Windows slow when Octane run

Maybe I'm wrong but I think this isn't possible.
Means you would need a secondary GPU. One that runs Octane and one that runs the viewscreen.

Would be great indeed if there is a way to "adjust" the calculation priority that you can still work in other windows :)

Scrabble

little test with an old scene.

Done with the 0.81beta demo version.
Unfortunatly the programs crashes randomly at scene setups so I didn't change the materials much.

Looking forward to the progress of octane :)
