Re: Animate value with Lua scripted graph
Great Script and how to. Saved me from creating countless manual nodes...

Stereoscopic rendering for Oculus ;)
Hello,
I'm trying to create stereographic content for Oculus Rift viewing. I've tried the Magenta-Green option, but would also like to render two separate images for Left and Right eye.
How can this be achieved with Octane?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Mark

Re: Rendering vertex color / zbrush polypaint
I thought so...
I can use a texture on the fibers, but the texture will be applied to every single fiber. In the vertex color of the fibers however, there's many more gradients of color. UV'ing millions of fibers is memorywise extremely intensive (failed with 24GB RAM).

Rendering vertex color / zbrush polypaint
I'm trying to render fibers without texture. (Zbrush Fibermesh).
Color information is stored in the OBJ file (I can see it in Meshlab for example). I wonder however if it's possible to render vertex color it in Octane?
Here's an example of a tiger:

Render colour from fibermesh OBJ (not texture)
Hi, I'm working on a Tiger in Zbrush. I'd like to render the colors from the Fibers OBJ in Octane.
Do you know of a way for Octane to Render OBJ color info? I'd love to hear suggestions...
Thanks in advance!

Re: First renders with Octane
Hi refracty, thanks!
Rationally, one would prefer Autodesk's 123D Catch for it's much faster and frees up you own resources. However, I go back and forth between Agisoft and Zbrush in my workflow... Is there an option in 123D Catch to reupload meshes for texturing?

First renders with Octane
Hi all,
I've been scanning people and animals for the last 2 years. I'm really loving the way Octane renders... Here's an elepant, scanned @ Zephyr's Lodge with Agisoft Photoscan and edited in Zbrush:
