Hey all
I have a followup question.
What is the projection is just -x -z +x +z (meaning no top/bottom). can that be done in one frame? or I would need to render each slice separately?

The random/step effect work only on changes made on the actual object (like position/rotation/etc)...
The material settings don't catch :'\
Sad because it's probably such an easy function...in Element 3D they have it..and it solves so many problems..
Even in Trapcode particular

Hey guys/girls,
I want to randomize a JPEG sequence in a Cloner, is that possible?
For example having a bunch of TVs with one material on the object (JPEG sequence driving the diffuse channel for example) , spread around with a Cloner,
then having each TV show a different part of that sequence...I ...

Hey,
I'm not using a light,
but in 1 case I'm using a regular object(mesh) with emission in the actual material settings - texture emission.
in the 2nd case, I'm using an Image texture sequence to to emit the light through the texture emission node.
I assume maybe what I need isn't even possible via ...

Hey guys,
I can't figure out how to make Octane C4D plugin "read" the Time-Step effector.
I have two different setups, it doesn't work in neither:
1- I use the emission node on an object which is in a cloner.
Then animate the power of the emission from 0-100 & back to 0 on the Octane material ...

Hey, and thank you for making the exporter in the first place!
I really like working with the Standalone, much more than Cinema 4D's material interface, so event though I know the C4D plugin has much direct features to use,
I still work with the exporter+Standalone.

I am still using the Cinema 4D Exporter together with the Standalone version of Octane, now V3.
I know it is possible to render with the standalone sequences of Volume objects, but I wonder,
is it possible to combine Volume objects with normal geometry in C4D, then export it via the exporter ...

Yes, the main reason I upgrade is because Octane+my GTX 570 is ... AWFUL..
compared to what I can get today...
I thought about GTX 980 Ti + GTX 970...for now, should do the trick I believe.
