I don't know if I'm excited or insulted.

Either way, I'm laughing.
Could not put it better... but hang towards the insulted side.

Re: Big animation problem

Before you grow grey hair searching, animation is mostly broken in this version.
Camera animation and simply moving objects around work. Character animation doesn't...

I'm waiting for a new release myself...

Re: OCDS not rendering?

This may sound like a stupid question, but:
Did you try a basic scene, say a sphere and a daylight environment?

And what is interesting, your viewport screenshot says, in the top bar, "waiting".
Does it ever get beyond that status?

I had something similiar happen once, took me a while to figure ...

Re: Can't Set OctaneRender Aperture to Zero

In case you didn't know, you can get your near object in focus by setting the OctaneRender Focal Distance to your object!

To do so I use a little trick:
Set the DS Camera's Depth of Filed to on. If you now select your camera and look at it from the side with another view you'll see a near and a ...

Re: Stonemason buildings, minor problem

Hello Erik

Looking at your original picture I think this is a rayepsilon problem.
To be honest I'm not really sure what this setting exactly does, but I had these weird dark forms in my renders also from time to time.

Just load the scene, increase the value (try x10, so a value of 0.00001 becomes ...

Re: Batch render

Is there any way to batch render things with OcDS? I use my only computer for rendering and would like to be able to queue it up to render multiple different scenes during the night.

As far as I know there is currently no way to batch render in OcDS.

I am not quite sure about the other plugins ...

Re: OcDS 1.2.120.3410 - BUG REPORTS

I think the bug I encounter is related to the 'last minute update to reduce ui redraw flickering' or the multithreading thing:

I have a rather huge scene, a room from Room Creator with furniture and stuff, 94 geometries, 1006 DAZ materials, 2110 Textures used, 119 unique textures.
This is an old ...

Re: Stop making excuses for t_3

Where is the 'Like' button when I need it? ;)

I was a bit worried since Christmas. Not because of lack of communication but because of the silence.
But now and then someone posted you were alive and hacking (pardon the pun ;) )

Since I use Studio and Octane purely for fun as a hobby I was pretty ...
