Re: Octane for Softimage 1.02 RC9 [Current]

yes, also in the render preview happen. The only way to update the texture is to change some parameter in the shader.
If can be fixed is cool! Thank you! ;)

Octane in RENDER region don't update textures. Example: I'm doing a psd, anad i update it.
When i go to render, (and i open the render q again with another point of view) the texture still the same. Even in XSI is updated, in the ...

Re: Octane for Softimage 1.02 RC9 [Current]

Where you like, i have no preferences, the important thing is to be able to see if the render is going to start, or something strange can stop it.
If you can switch it to the scrit edito i think is perfect, so we don't create new strange stuff.
Too gentle! ;)

Re: Octane for Softimage 1.02 RC9 [Current]

I found a strange bug. In the Render Region, after many times that you change light position, longitude, turbidity, month, etc etc , the render region stop to update the light position and render view. You have to close the region , "move the camera" and than it work again. If you don't move tha ...

Thank you!

Re: Octane for Softimage 1.02 RC9 [Current]

Cool, i tested it, there is absolutely one important stuff even in the render region:
You must write somewhere, like in the preview window, the meshes that are loading. On huge scenes we always are afraid that something crash when the plug in is loading mesh.
Could be fine also in the command line ...
