Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
Dear Karba, I know we just finished the conversation over Skype, but I wanted to let everybody on this forum know how great and to the point your response was. Needles to say, the Plugin works now!!! I know that the time difference between Auckland and Zagreb is immense so I'm glad that we managed ...

Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
Yes, in 3DS Max, currently it states there that it is activated, under OctaneLive Account "Account is currently ACTIVATED on this machine". Now I can see the ID and hidden Pasword, which was not the case yesterday. I can also get the picture in the OctaneRender Viewport window but it is overexposed ...

Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
Hi Karba,
Yes (for the stand alone license). No for the Plugin, because I don't have that option ("deactivate account") next to the Plugin Password on the web page (a bit odd). I did the plugin in the render window under OctaneLive Account properties.

Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
Clearly something wrong with Octanes Licence Server, on-line I can see that stand alone is activated. Also I can open it, but after opening Preferences and hitting OK, this comes up (att.)

Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
This may be a clue for Octane team solving this (I hope). I just deactivated the Max Plugin (ID and Password were blank fields, yet the notice said that the plug in is activated?!) to install v1.02 of the same product. So I reopened Max after that, Octane render options opened quickly (which was not ...

Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
Does not work, now I have a problem with activating the combo. Stand alone version states (live account status in the lower right corner) that the account is activated, but in my customer area section under OctaneLive Accounts I dont se an option to deactivate it (which should be there. Also in Max ...

Re: Overexposed materials (material editor)
Hi Karba, thank you for the reply, I've tried it and it does not work. Here is what my Materials and Viewport looks like (att.) still, after your suggestion.
I repeat that the Background Environment color is set to White, so no lights in this scene...
