I second that about the stereo output type, but other wise it's been working fine for me.

Re: OctaneRender for DAZ Studio 2022.1.1 - 303 [TEST]

Just a small bug, when you select panoramic camera, change stereo output type to "side by side", and then change field of view. Works good, but when you save and re-load, the parameters that were changed are lost. Not a big deal for me, but could be annoying to some.

Re: OctaneRender for DAZ Studio 2022.1.1 - 303 [TEST]

Hi Toby,

Just did a quick test of the panoramic camera and it works as expected. Thanks so much for this, I've been waiting years for this change. I will do some more testing today and tomorrow, but so far looks good.
Thanks again! :D

Re: OctaneRender for DAZ Studio 2022.1 - 211 [STABLE]

Just wondering if there is a plan to get the Panoramic camera working in the next month or so.

Hi. Yes, more capabilities around customizing the camera, including the use of the Panoramic camera, are in progress at the moment. Progress has been slow, but I expect a test version to be available ...

I need to render an 3D Side by side animation using the panoramic lens, my only option is the stand alone app until the plugin has a working panoramic lens. So if i create my animation in studio, then load the plugin, and i do export complete scene, will it export the complete animation or just ...

Re: OctaneRender for DAZ Studio 2022.1 - 206 [TEST]

Hi, just wondering if there is an ETA for the panoramic Lens, thanks.

There is no ETA, sorry, but I do intend to add the ability to edit the camera nodes as one of the next few major features.

For now, if you have a Studio+ license, you can export the scene to ORBX and open it in Octane ...

Re: Seriously disappointed in progress of the Daz plugin

Thanks for the info, by the way I've tired many times and the ctrl alt R has never worked for me and still does not. But forget about me for a second, I've been playing with Octane for over 5 years. How about the thousands of Daz users who try the plugin, see the results and figure Octane is fast ...

Seriously disappointed in progress of the Daz plugin

I remember when Paul took over development of the plugin from T3, that was great a great day, all the little problems were finally getting fixed, I think that was about 5 years ago.
If there was a bug, Paul would be quick to look at it and try to fix it, that is if you could reproduce It.
