Hi.
I asked Nick Seavert (JangaFX) on facebook about Otoy users on Oct 15
Carlos Matias :
Hi. Otoy licenced users are still on V0.5.6.3. Will there be any update on the Otoy side ?
Nick Seavert :
Otoy users will get the update November 1st
That's the only info I got.

Re: No "Planetary Atmosphere" parameters
Hi cmatias,
Thanks for reporting this.
This 'Planetary atmosphere' is an empty rollup, that used to contain 'planetary axis x,y,z, and angle' in versions prior to 2018.1 (~v7.02)
Those parameters have been replaced by Latitude and Longitude..
I'll remove this rollup completely in next release ...

No "Planetary Atmosphere" parameters
Hi.
I am getting a hard time to try to get a clean earth view with the Planetary Environment (Octane lights).
It seems that the Albedo texture of my earth is washed out by the bluish atmosphere, but there is no parameters to change in the "Planetary atmosphere" section of the PlanetEnv object...

Re: Clouds in Planetary Environment
Hi.
Use the Latitude and Longitude parameters in the PlanetEnv (the ones who are just above the "Planetary surface" section.
Then also use the camera Z rotation.

3dsmax/Octane render output file error
Hi.
I'm facing a strange issue while rendering a scene with many animated textures (png sequences as textures).
After a while (around 200 images) when rendering and writing rendered files to the hard drive, I have this "strange" error :
"File Open Error / Output Path : xxxxxxxx does not exist ...

Re: NEW: EmberGenFX public beta begins now!
Hi there.
Is there a command line option to select which GPU card to use for EmbergenFX simulation ?
(because I don't want to use the first GPU card which is use for display and all other stuff).
Regards.

Hi.
I'm facing this issue I can't resolve with the pFlow particles motion blur going wrong when using a "Delete particles by age" function.

Thank you Paride for this answer.
Your question “does it make sense?”, makes sense!

Octane light "video projector" and mirror
Hi there.
I'm facing an issue which I don't think is a bug, but I don't know how to deal with it.
I'm using a very small octane light with a projection map to simulate a "video projector".
It works well, but now I want the projected light to reflect on a small mirror to send the upper half of the ...
