Fixed a render time increase with X-Particles scenes in combo with Motion Blur in the Picture Viewer
Hello!
Glad to hear that… but in a simple test, I’m no longer getting any motion blur, and not all particles are being rendered. After around 100 frames, none of them are rendered at all.
Could ...

Re: render time issues
Render times with XP and Motion Blur is a known issue, and sadly, it still hasn't been fixed.

Hello,DinoMuhic wrote: However the render-time build-up when rendering X-Particles with Motion Blur was fixed instead.
Would it be possible to test this simple file and see if rendering times don't increase after the first 30 frames?
(I've tried on my own, and it's still increasing.)
Thx!

Render times with Particle lifespan variation + MB
Hello,
I recently discovered that my render times increased when my particles (xParticles) started to die if I used both motion blur and particle lifespan variation.
If I don't use motion blur or if I leave the particle lifespan variation at 0F, all is well, render times don't increase.

Re: Motion Blur + Cloner (weird lines)
Thanks Franck for your reply, that's what I was afraid of. Not really Octane's fault here...
Initially, I'd done it with particles (fused) but my scene is more complex (a network of moving deformed tubes connected with a flow of particles inside) and I still have leaking particles for the moment. So ...

Motion Blur + Cloner (weird lines)
Hello,
I have a problem with Motion Blur and a Cloner.
When I animate (offset) objects along a spline, I get big strange lines appearing.

I cannot get rid of these lines... (I tried Alignment Before/Center/After)
Any idea?

Yes, the problem is the same whatever the start frame (so from 1F to 40F, or 30F to 40F, same problem).
So for a path like RENDERS/$prj/$prj in my Octane Render settings:
- When the 1st frame is being rendered, the project folder has not yet been created.
- When the 1st frame is rendered, the ...

Re: Cinema4D version 2023.1.2-[R7] (Obsolete stable) 27.03.2024
I don't know... Octane can create all folders and save all files successfully... except the 1st frame where Octane only creates one folder and saves one pass.
(about plugins, I don't have this problem with another one like X-Particles which also creates folders and files for xpCache)
