One minor issue(happens with default Andy as well). Moving the "daylight" around doesn't cause the render to update unless I first switch to texture environment and then back to daylight. Using version 1.25.0.17

Good question. It is potentially doable with the 2014 Poser material room. And I have done prototype for another Octane plugin. But adding, connecting and editing nodes is soooo slow compared with the ...

Definitely want something suitable for producing animations, separate or stitched images for each eye, such as side by side 3D.

With programs like VRCinema @ http://www.uxground.com/ you don't have to worry about proper Oculus distortion unless you want to use a more direct video player instead of ...

I checked the priority settings and tried using only 1 of my gpus, which resulted in a speed up(didn't matter which one, same result), still a little less than half of what I get with 1.13u.
Do you have SLI enabled in your NVidia settings? (It should be disabled).

Most people have found the latest versions substantially quicker than 1.13, so your results are odd. The resolution functionality has changed - in that the old version had the resolution set to the viewport size - whereas the new version you ...

Having some odd performance issues with this version.

In Poser Pro 2012 using plugin version 1.13u I'm getting 31 MSamples/sec

Using the same character and scene setup in Poser Pro 2014 and plugin version 1.20a5, I'm only getting 2 MSamples/sec

Just wanted to let you know I haven't had any problems with the latest 1.11u3 release.


I wonder if Octane could be adjusted to work with the Oculus Rift? Should probably be asking in the main forum.
