material database loading indicator??
hey, i think it would be cool if there was an indicator showing the loading status of choosen materials from the liveDB... currently cinema halts until the material has been loaded. which i find a bit strange.

Hi, i just came along an issue with my created polygons. its happening when i try to render with the octane renderer. dunno if it applies to other external renderers. thing work fine inside cinema (standard renderer or physical)

ah, thank you.. and is there a way that the displacement doesnt take the mesh apart along the polygon edges?

hi there,
can someone be so kind and tell me how to get displacement to work? i have a material where i put a displacement shader into the displacement channel and that contains a marble shader for example.
but i dont get any displacement to show up.
anyone share some light on this?

today i upgraded to 2.x displacement doesn't seem to work. i can't attach a shader to that channel

standalone works with no problems...
no idea, but either the rendering window remains black and if i add new octane materials cinema freezes. and i have to kill it with the taskmanager.
i went back to 0.96 beta

i cannot get the 1.52.1 of c4doctane. in my account i only find the 1.00 version.
in the log there is a cuda error. no cuda device found. does version 1.0 require something which 0.96 didn't

nothing renders anymore and creating new material crashes cinema.. any ideas?
