I just installed the Maya plugin a few days ago and so far I would have to say that it's a really nice implementation. I have been very impressed with how stable the tools are for a Beta version.

It's the first time when Autodesk broke this formal registry path system... There was always "...\2011\...", "...\2012\..." paths...

Do you not see the "OctanePlugin.mll" there?
Have you checked the checkbox in the installer next to your Maya version?

The install seemed to go very fast and said it had finished. I loaded up Maya to look under the plug-in manager but Octane doesn't seem to show up.

I just purchased the Maya plugin and tried to install it for Maya 2013.5 but don't think it installed. Is Maya 2013 Extension supported?
