try with another CUDA application, you will have the same error, so it depends from Microsoft and Nvidia.
Why don’t you install Win 7 also on this machine?

Back on my machine and tested now the newer 391.35 driver. still gettong no cuda. The log shows:
CUDA error 999 on device -1: unknown error
-> failed to initialise CUDA driver API
Missing or invalid 'seconds_to_expiration' field from ORC server API response
ORC subscription status ...

Tryed it now on the network machine with 4 780 without ti. same issue. 390 and above no cuda, 388,71 works. below 3.87 i get error becose of too old cuda version!
maybe its a gtx 7xx series problem. no idea!

Win 8.1 x64 with 2 780 ti. Updated my drivers from 388.71 to 391.24. Suddenly Octane couldnt find my cuda devices anymore. Moved back to 388.71 and everything works fine again! Wondering that no one reported that so far. Am i the last one with 780 ti´s? :-) :-) :-) or am i doing ...
