Re: Material node editor is not stable...
Aoktar, last time crashing was when I tried connect node Color Correct to Diffuse input and after that connect image Texture node to CCorrect input, and CRASHING! After that I change sequencing. I connect texture to CCorrect input and only than connect all nodes to Material Diffuse input. And magic ...

Material node editor is not stable...
Octane Material Node Editor in Cinema 4D is not stable. Many crashes and bugs when I try to connect some nodes. And no laws. It work correct at first, and then the same operation will result in an error and crash of Cinema. It's starting to annoy. If Otoy can`t make a stable Editor, why not use a ...

Re: How to hide Blackbody Emitter object in refraction?
Hi R_Flash,
nothing wrong from you, but this is expected if you cheat by hiding the visibility of the emission. As you can see, the general luminosity is not changed, but the image is completely different because glossy and specular materials have nothing to reflect or refract.
Have you already ...

Re: How to hide Blackbody Emitter object in refraction?
Use general visibility in object tag.
Decrease of "General Visibility" parameter in ObjectTag destroys BlackBody Emitter effect. :(
It's not destroying illumination effect. Which effect do you mean?
When I set GeneralVisibility paremeter closer to 0, highlights on glossy materials disappears ...

How to hide Blackbody Emitter object in refraction?
Hi.
I know, Octane ObjectTag not helps to hide blackbody emitter mesh in refracted or reflected object (glass or water), but maybe somebody know any tricks to avoid this restrictions? Thanks.

Re: Visible light without fog. How?
This method have many limitations for me. Why is it implemented much easier in Redshift. There is a global parameter "Volumetric Scattering" (analog of Octane fog) and in each light object is a parameter "Volume contribution scale", which control volume scattering influence. I hope Octane developers ...
