Hi
I added a opacity to the light emitter and it`s invisible for the reflections. Good!
But...
The refractions changed, I don`t get the same "light refractions/scattering" effects as before, When I had it without any opacity
This would not happen if I had a "Visible to Reflection" tag, The ...

Re: TAG: Invisible to reflection?
Hi Sighman
Ok, so it will still effect the refractions and diffuse?, because it`s still a light source HDR emitter. But not visible in reflections (because its has a opacity map)
I will check it out and see if it works. Thanks.

Re: TAG: Invisible to reflection?
Or is it any work around?
Because I have a light source that I want to be invisible in the reflection, but still give me illumation light.
There is a feature in Maxwell, Vray, Mental Ray, but not in Octane for "Visible in Reflections".
It would be nice in Octane too.

TAG: Invisible to reflection?
Hi Octane Team
Is it possible to tag objects that they should not be visible in reflections? or coming soon?
It would be great.
Thanks.

Re: Double refraction? Brighter tones
Ok, I will try the absorption medium, last time I tried it I had to give it a value of 15000-3000 to even se any different in the colors, What's strange because my gemstone is about 2mm, and the scale value is in meters, right?
0,001-0,005. Value would be more reasonable, in my scene setup.

Double refraction? Brighter tones
Hi
I`m trying to render a nice and looking Sapphire gemstone, But I`m having some problems with the internal refractions of it.
I don`t get that the right color contrast, My "3D" stone only contains a average blue tone, But in the Photo reference there are some really bright light blue tone.

Glare and bloom
Hi
Have anyone tested the glare/bloom feature in 3D Studio Max?
I cant find it, where is it located in 3dsmax?

Re: Multipasses in Octane
Wonder why?
Is it a feature that`s missing in "CUDA technology" or only in Octane?
May it be because its hard to create with GPU rendering? (I think Iray in Bunkspeed have the same issue, but they can offer it but then you need to render it twice on each passes).

Multipasses in Octane
Does anyone know if it`s possible to render out passes in Octane?
I know there are some support with "deep channel kernel", like normals, postion and z-depth.
But I`m looking for only Reflections or Refractions? Is this possible or will it be later?
