Thank you for the update, Stephan.
I can honestly say we are all looking forward to this!
It seems like the wait has been incredibly long, but I really believe you
are taking time to make the product as stable as possible.
Thank you for all your efforts on this!

Re: OctaneRender for Softimage beta testers wanted
Any word on this from anyone at Otoy?
Very much looking forward to this, and I am guessing the beta is closed from the lack of a reply to the request.
Hope it releases soon, it looks fantastic!

Re: OctaneRender for Softimage beta testers wanted
I would love to participate.
I have used Softimage since V1.
I have been a beta tester for almost every version since V5.
I have used Softimage in production on film VFX, TV and print work.
I have used the trial version of Octane for more than a year, each time I use it I think how great it would ...

I am one of them, and we complain about it all the time. Every time we hit the render button.
Sure it (mental ray) is a fast raytracer for reflections and (usually) for refractions, but it is very slow for indirect ...

Re: OctaneRender for Autodesk Softimage(SI|XSI) Initial Over
I (literally) cannot wait for this.
I wish I could wait, but I start a project that would really benefit from Octane.
I really hope that it is released soon!

Re: OctaneRender for Autodesk Softimage(SI|XSI) Initial Over
Any official updates on e status of this? We are interested in buying some licenses, and I am 1,000% tired of mental ray. It has screwed me way too many times, and it is so hard to get a photorealistic result. I am waiting for this with MUCH anticipation. Please give me some idea of the time frame ...
