In OpenCL 980 is faster than 780ti and if it could have the same number of CUDA cores it propably would be faster in Octane also.

I can confirm that gtx970 in OpenCL Luxmark beats most of 780ti's, So there is huge compute power potential in maxwell architecture. I think in present Octane builds new architecture is not implemented, Octane can't recognize number of cores and PMC doesn't work with 970, hope it will change ...
