I am currently using 3ds max 2013 and I try to export my scenes as obj and then import them into octane standalone version 1.36. Can the subsurface scattering effect be reproduced in Octane on a simple image texture applied on a diffuse material? If not, can it be precisely faked through the use of an opacity map?
