Recently I've been working on a script for convert materials to Octane, because our materials are complex and involve vertex map.

But I have some problems now, it should be a bug, the "Name" property of "Color vertex attribute" node seems to conflict with the name property of the max native ...

go to material editor window there is a "Material" button next to "Modes" button. Click on it then it drops down. There should be a line Highlight assets in ATS dialog or something like that. How to strip all maps paths?

Hi,i want to know how to strip all maps paths? i can't find any maps path information in Bitmap/Photometric path editor or Relinkbitmap plugin.

You can approximate this with a scattering medium, set the scattering to a slightly blue color (but don't use fully saturated colors).

There is a material like this in liveDB, Materials » Non-Organic » Glass » silica aerogel.

It will take a while to render noise free though, you have to either ...

When i use octanerender render a animation in 3dsmax,it's take some error of material.sometimes the leaves and flowers doesn't have any material.but sometimes just the flowers donen't have material.It shows right in octanerender viewport.just take error in render animation.
