Hello, I had a bit of time on the weekend so I tested some models in sketchup. 
I still have lot trouble making things a bit more realistic or interesting, yet I haven't grasp much of it i have to say. 
4000x4000 and about 800 sample? 7hrs with pmc. Attached is 50% reduced. Seems like awful long ...

I've attached the original render.
Actually, There wasn't much for post production, apart from colour correction and adding some "more" blur into the image. It, blur, was originally intended to hide the obvious duplication...
I'm at the moment a bit lost ...

I've been trying to practice rendering, which I find very difficult.
At least I got some result to show today.
Any kind of advice would be so much appreciated. I find making realistic material is very, very difficult......

i've just made the signature, hope it show up..
i got single gtx 580, would 8hr still be justifiable with this spec? when i initially start render it shows 16hrs, though i stopped at 8hrs.

Hi, I've been wanting to learn octane and render in general. 
Finally i got a bit of time to do some exercise for the first time with some of furniture that I've designed.
