Strange behaviour when processing

When I process through the OctaneRender viewport, all the processing goes flawlessly, but:
when I precess through the render button, the GPU goes all time up and down.

I've tried this with the same resolution and frame, and the results are always the same. For a single render it is not such a ...

Re: Multi-GPU crashes computer

Hi,

After 24h trying everything (I mean everything): all wire combinations, an additional 500W PSU only for one of the GPUs, GTX480 bios update (I even didn't know this could be done :), and so on, the results remain the same:

Any of the GPUs works fine alone or in combination of GT430 + GTX470 ...

Re: Multi-GPU crashes computer

The PSU is 750W

My GPUs are about 500 all of them together so I think that is not the problem.?

In the moment I select the two GPUs it seems to start rendering but at the moment the computer freezes (I cannot even move the mouse) and I have to reset it.

I have tried in both the standalone and the ...

Multi-GPU crashes computer

Hi,

I've just installed a GTX 470 and a GTX 480 and both of them work properly one by one, but when I select both of them, the system crashes and I have to reboot.

¿Any idea?

Thanks a lot

Re: Missed maps, help please

Thanks a lot, I'll try to optimize maps.

Yes, I do agree about people in the scene. Customer like people doing things arround :DD
I will remove some of them and so I won't have such a problem with maps :)

Greetings

Missed maps, help please

One of my scenes have problems with maps in materials:
If I hide one of the objects (the buildint) then the rest of the maps are rendered right.
If I let all the objetcs unhided, maps are not applied to the lasts objects objects I merged to to the scene.

¿Any idea please?
The scene is not too big ...

Re: Performance comparsion of various GTX cards (including oc)

I've noticed it too. Doubling cards is not very noticeable in the moment, but when comparing how time it takes to obtain a crisp image (with no fireflies), it is noticeable that rendering last half

Re: Performance comparsion of various GTX cards (including oc)

Thanks guys - this thread is a BIG help.

One problem that occurs when choosing cuda cards is the bad description concerning the amount of cores.
