Help! Very Confused Setting Up SSS Skin Materials in 2.x

Hi!

I just purchased the new 2.x plugin for Daz, and am really confused on how to properly implement material from Live DB.

I am specifically trying to use "icelaglace's SSS skin 1.0" with a Victoria 6 HD model.

When I copy in the material in, I am met with these options (see screenshot 01 ...

Re: Purchased Stand Alone. Do I Need to Purchase C4D Plugin?

Hi aoktar,

Thanks for the response!

So will I have to pay the 99 Euros for the plugin, or will I get some sort of discount for already purchasing the stand alone license?

Thank you!

Re: Alpha Channel + Transparent Materials for Compositing

Hey Chris,

Thanks again for you response!

Re: Alpha Channel + Transparent Materials for Compositing

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the quick response!

In the past, when I used cinema 4d for rendering, I would use an 'object buffer' tag on the transparent object, and alpha channels on when rendering to a PSD image file. Then, when I imported the file into photoshop, I would be able to select the outline ...

Alpha Channel + Transparent Materials for Compositing

Hello everybody!

I have a quick questions about using alpha channels with transparent materials (plastic) in Octane.

What I am trying to achieve is rendering out a clear plastic object in Octane with 'alphachannel' turned on, saving the render as a transparent PNG image, and then using Photoshop ...

Dippin' Dots Material! How do I do that?

Hi Guys and Gals!

I am new to octane render, so I am quite confused how to go about making a material that when applied to a sphere, will make it look like a Dippin' Dot freeze dried ice cream snack?

It is kind of a frosted surface, but still is colorful without being transparent. Here is an ...
