I understand, the memory used change with the scene used...it's logic...
i have 1Megasample/ sec in mode pathfinder.....it's must be normal.
are there any scenes of tests to verify performance maps and compare values with other PC?

here is a matter of configuring my graphics card GTS250 1Mb
I see the tab marked CUDA DEVICES: GEFORCE GTS250 (0 COMPUTE 11)
and when Octane calculation, as it marks information:
GEFORCE GTS250 (0) 19Mb/1009MB USED
Is the graphics card is used by you?

I Tested For Less Noise in the minimum computation time. I have a 4Gb RAM and 1Gb of ram GTS250.
Should There Be a minimum of 64,000 samples to get a fine image?

The same pb.
the mapping are indentations on the 3 oranges.
Faces when everything is ok, but no good when the side was a gray area.
Note : Rendering with pathtracing
