Re: BFG GeForce Titan XXX OC2 24GB RAM for 1666.00 GBP arrives s

I guess it could be...I just can't believe that such reputable retailer such as Overclockers will make such cruel joke with people. I fell for it like a sucker :)
Anyway- I changed the title to reflect these doubts.

P.S. Can a moderator delete this thread, please.
Sorry about the confusion, guys.

False alarm: Titan XXX OC2 24GB RAM for 1666.00 GBP arrives

Not sure if that has been posted, I didn't see it in the threads anyway.
I hope this isn't some kind of a joke from Overclockers UK but here goes...
Overclocekrs in UK will start selling soon (ETA is 01 April, 2015) the 24GB version of the Titan X with the following specs:

Re: Can't access to liveDB

Well that is strange. After following that URL you gave me I did nothing else but am now able to access the LiveDB, download and assign materials with no problem.
Do you think it has something to do with my following the link, and clicking on "Proceed to live1.refractivesoftware.com (unsafe)" from ...

Re: Can't access to liveDB

Hi,
I followed the link and my Chrome displayed the following message:
"Your connection is not private.
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from live1.refractivesoftware.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards)."

There was an "advanced" button under it, once I ...

Re: Can't access to liveDB

Hi FooZe,

Thank you kindly for your response. The error message is "Can't access to liveDB" in a small dialog box.
I don't have any firewall active nor do I have an Antivirus (these are one of the first things I turned off in my Windows 8.1 Pro).
As for live1.refractivesoftware.com on port 443 ...

Can't access to liveDB

Hi all,

I can't open the LiveDB to access the material there. It was like that a month ago, it is like that now.
I remember having the same problem more than a year ago but for the life of me I can't remember how it got solved.
I am using 3DS Max 2014 and Octane plugin for 3DS Max 1.55b. My ...

Re: Element 3D V2 - nice - ideas - concept - fast

Damn linvanchene,
I am giving you +1 for many things, among which for the comprehensive, logical and time consuming post, mate :)

Still, like you said, direct comparison between the GPGPU renderer Octane and Element3D is not reasonable.

Cheers dude.

Re: 4K monitor as second or third monitor possible?

Hey mate,
have you considered getting a 3440x1440 instead. Like the soon to come AOC U3477PQU or Dell U3415W curved, the LG version of it and so on...
The AOC is to be released here in UK these days for around 550 GBP which is actually a very good price considering what it brings to the table.
The ...

Nice find.
Element3D is an amazing plug-in, indeed.
And Andrew Kramer is a very, very funny guy :)

Cheers.

Re: Is this a normal score for Titan Black?

Just a quick last update- I ran the GPU-z and the PerfCap Reason field reads VRel (when the card is under load) and then blue colour on the right of it. Which from what I read on-line is a good sign.
Temperatures reach 80C when under load with fan speed at 50%, I don't think that is too high for ...
