Hi, i don't know for this version, i'm on 2.21.1, i noticed rendering with video post, camera event don't switch (camera not found when switching to a second camera). The new camera sequencer mode don't work too (tested in max2015 ext. 2, not the 2016), as it's rendering always the same camera ...

did you rise a bit the amount value in the disp map ?
Keep the "edges rounding" value in general glossy mat, to 0 too.

I just remembered to fix one annoyin thing - when you reload the scene = the texture doesn't get reloaded - I have to close the octane preview windows and open again - that is, when I work on a texture in photoshop and I'm checking on progress in 3d max - this is what I have to do every time - can ...

Karba Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to lead us a way to convert Octane materials to VrayMTL.
I will need this for a project that I'm bidding. I'll have to go back and forth with vray and octane.

I'm not asking it as a feature request but asking this for an advice to lead us a way ...

yup, i saw this issue too... just log out win session, restart max and all vram is here ready to use. But when using only secondary card, all vram is alway available, so maybe it's a problem of cache or something by the main card... :?:

right ! Another thing, may ba a little feature where we can set a maximum resolution for bitmaps, i mean for example a button "max res 1024x1024" etc. which can help to fit all bitmaps in Vram without loading reduced version of textures.

I found a very annoying bug. Dont know if it is max 2014 or Octane. when I save render presets in max to be used in batch render setup some parts of the octane render setup will be saved in the render preset, even if I only save the "common" part in the preset. As I said. dont know if its octane or ...
