Just a quick update-
I squashed my city down to a handful of buildings, along with the other elements in the scene. Using Direct Lighting, and tweaking the materials, I was able to solve the firefly issue. Just took some material tweaking, as suggested. Thanks for the suggestions!

I have 2 EVGA SC GTX 480s , so that's 1.5 GB Vram, then, I believe? It didn't APPEAR that I was even close to running out of RAM, but I'll check again.

Sorry for the confusion... Everything is fine now! It was user-error on my part... I just have inadvertently switched the controls when I was playing around with my GPU settings. I will be re-doing all my materials/lighting over the weekend, now that I know it's working as it should! Can't wait to ...

Good news- with the latest .011b, my render is right over 1000 frames (rendered overnight), and still going! It happened again last night. I don't how much this even helps, as it's a pretty generic error- but it's definitely consistent. Always happens after a couple hundred frames. I'm excited about this as well- I had this exact same thing happen...I set up a 2000 frame animation, went to bed, and it turns out it was sitting with an "Octane has stopped working", waiting for me to click, wait... it then started back up, but of course it kind of defeated the purpose of much ...
