Re: 100% Heisenberg

The only things I feel separated this from a real life shot is the tones and specular highlights of the skin. The areas of the skin that are better shaded work well but the hand where there are brighter reflections there is this waxy look to it. I think its mostly due to sharp and bright highlights ...

Re: OctaneRender® beta 2.43 (lin/mac/win) [CURRENT/RECOMMENDED]

I think the forum by its self needs some mods, Thats aside from the issues I have with the development.

I have offered to work on the forums for free in the way of being a mod, I never did get a response to that. The reason I requested to be a mod the first place was due to a spamming of a virus ...

Re: OctaneRender® beta 2.43 (lin/mac/win) [CURRENT/RECOMMENDED]

A suggestion that I think will help to minimize the negativity from community that I keep see growing.

Refractive Software needs to be more transparent in its development and needs more customer service.

A few things that bother me right now are about the development of Octane.

1: No public ...

Re: Surprise 3-day bonus material competition (OPEN)

thanks for clearing that up, I guess I thought wrong.

Regarding the upload of material macros with images: It is possible, but we had a size limit of 8MB per macro. We have increased the limit to 16MB now.

But please make sure that your used textures are not too big (less than 16MB). You can ...

Re: [Bug] 2.43 Windows - aperture value is wrong on materialball

One thing I just thought of why this maybe what it is. Maybe this is intentional seeing that if you are working on a scene you don't want a material ball to change your preview camera setting? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hope I'm not coming off as spamy. I just want to help in any way I can to make ...

[Request] Texture Environment Macro

Well I think the title says it all. It would be great to be able to share a hdri with the macro.

truth be told I bet a Texture Environment Macro would be more successful then the material macros considering the ease of use a Texture Environment Macro would provide.

The only problem I would ...
