Is this something that is never possible or a future feature ?. It’s nice to use the focus picker .

I noticed that bug indeed. Not sure what caused it. A new camera solved it for now..

Focus Picker octane viewport?
Hi,
When i enable the octane viewport i can use the focus picker to select a precise focal point. Great!
However when i do an F12 render it wont remember that point. Is there a way to render the selected focus with the focus picker?

I deleted my camera. A new camera didn’t have the problem. So hopefully something I did wrong.

render stuck on previous render
Hi,
The preview render doesnt update correct. also when i change images it doesnt show them in the next render in preview.
When I select the object it shows the correct bounding box, see screenshot, but it renders in the previous position.
Is there an option to empty the GPU data or something ...

Bassicaly, the maps: _basecolor ; _height ; _metallic : _normal; _opacity ; _roughness needs to be changed to a Universal override.
Linear Gamma is set to 1.0
SRGB gamma is set tot 2.2 ...

o man, i am not that smart to understand that fully. :) Was hoping the video is showing you what is needed.it shows all the changes i need to make to get it working.
Basically when i do a PBR material it has a metallic map aswell. Octane override in Modo does not convert to a metallic map.

I also mentioned this before. The override should do a conversion to Universal material. Metallness doesn’t work now.
So please make an override directly to Universal material.
