Re: Can't load La Femme into Octane 2019.1.0.95 Regular
Hi Paul, sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the info. Glad to see that it wasn't something I was doing wrong.

Re: Can't load La Femme into Octane 2019.1.0.95 Regular
Additional weirdness:
I have a scene with two props, La Femme, and another figure. I can load the scene into Octane if La Femme is invisible. Then I can edit the materials for Octane as usual.
If I then turn LF back visible and try to load the scene, I get the message from above. I turn LF back ...

Can't load La Femme into Octane 2019.1.0.95 Regular
When I try, I get a MainWacros message:

Re: Poser Pro 11 and the current Octane Compatibility
Not quite the same issue, but I'm getting good results with the sand-cloud texture of the construct. I patch in the sky texture of the background material of the ground object into the opacity channel, set translucency to 0.9 and patch the reversed sky texture into absorption. Shadow visibility of ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) - build 1.23.0.11+ [TEST]
It seems that editing the medium (absorption, scattering) in one material of a material mix does not force a refresh. Can anyone else confirm this, or is it just me?
You need to have a Transmission (ideally RGB 256,256,256) plugged in before the Medium will have an effect on the material.
I ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) - build 1.23.0.11+ [TEST]
Ran script "Create emitter from current light" (thanks for that, btw), and got a Cuda error: Tried to access null node pin. The script itself reported "finished".
Also, the way the projection of HDRIs and photometric profile source images are handled is obscure to me. HDRIs are now so out of focus ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) - build 1.23.0.11+ [TEST]
For practicality, may I suggest that some nodes are not "not connected" by default? Or, at least, that it's possible to paste copied nodes into "not connected" nodes? For example, changing the diffuse node from "RGB image" to a "mix" node results on two not connected nodes, and it's not possible ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) - build 1.23.0.11+ [TEST]
Found something harmless, thought I'd mention it regardless. When saving a pose to the Poser library while the Octane plugin is open, I just got this message from Main Wacros window: Exception in OctaneRender for Poser objectsAdded
The pose is still saved, everything else seems to be working ...
