Rendering of proposed structure for (you guessed it), the University of Louisville in Kentucky (USA). Not completely finished, but was happy enough with it to post it here.

Where to find the best grass
I'm hoping that the post title catches eyes, and doesn't get me in trouble in any way....
I am having a hell of a time doing a render from Blender 2.5. I've got a very large grass scene to do in blender, with a building smack dab in the middle. Imagine an office building in the middle of a huge ...

Re: multiple nVidia cards
Thanks Tim. So the answer really is: two nVidia cards work just fine. I could have searched around for the answer all day, and still not have found a suitable response.

Afternoon-
I am thinking about getting the new GTX 470, and adding it to my existing GTX 280 from a year or so ago.
It got me thinking: how in the hell does that work? Sitting side by side, will this cause any problems with my existing display drivers? What experiences/problems have other folks had ...

Re: Specifying which GPUs in exporter
Enrico-
if you have 2 cards and want to use all of them just put 0 1, if you want to use the second, just put 1

Just as you suggested, I enabled the GPU button and simply typed 0 then 1 ("0 1") to get both of my GPUs working on export. AWESOME.
Thanks for looking into this- it worked ...

Found 2.3 (sorry, getting used to the Octane site; I've only been using it 12 days). I'll test it out this evening.

I haven't had the time to download 2.3. Is there an easy link that I have somehow overlooked? I'd be happy to try.
I guess the question should really be: what do I write in that box next to the GPU button contained in the exporter? Do I take the name from what I'm seeing in the Octane ...
