I did some more displacement tests with my models I've used it on and attached are IPR shots with displacement node settings and the displacement map itself. I felt it was better to have the different settings visualised as a result than just explaining it. Sorry if it seems excessive.

Reloaded Lightwave and now the logo scene and the clouds scene work - they didn't before. Left over settings that didn't get cleaned out perhaps?

Trying to render the volumetrics scenes and I'm running into problems. I'm getting the same error no matter what I do when the IPR window is rendering. Another scene I've created with Octane 2.x works fine with 3.0.
