I'm using a 750 Ti with driver 335.23 - when i switch off alpha shadows, the card always fails:

CUDA error 719 on device 0: An exception occurred on the device while executing a kernel. The context cannot be used anymore and must be destroyed. All existing device ...

this was a bit stupid from me - to be honest, i never used/was aware of the "lock this pane"-button...

It now should safe me from 95% of my accidential render-restarts. Sometimes, one just oversees obvious things.

tonight i came home and wanted to watch the result from a 12-hour-render. I don't exactly remember if it was just a click or an accidential mouse-wheel-touch, but i just lost these 12 hours of rendertime (and energy-consumption) for nothing! :shock:

maybe like this: when over ~200? samples are rendered, there is a confirmation-dialogue before re-rendering starts because of (accidential) parameter-change.
