Been working with Softimage for a very long time, and seriously started using the standalone with the Softimage plugin since the 1.10 release.
I'd love to give it a testride if there's still a vacancy on the B Team.

Re: Motion blur shutter speed
you can lower the amount of motion blur by scaling the animation so everything moves slower, and then skipping every 2nd or 3rd frame when rendering.
If you also need object motion blur you could do the same, but render all the frames, scale the animation back to it's original length in AfterFX or ...

Re: Soft2Octane 3.03 [CURRENT]

Re: Soft2Octane 3.03 [CURRENT]
another problem I've run into is that I have an Octane scene where several Obj's are merged into a geometrygroup node, and I can't get the group to render and load the animated object on every frame at the same time.
When I activate "overwrite existing project", it will the refresh the animated ...

Re: Soft2Octane 3.03 [CURRENT]
I've been experimenting with this plugin for a few days and it works great so far, thanks a lot for all the hard work.
I have one problem though. I can't get the SI camera to export properly with the scene. I reinstalled the addon twice and made sure I had microsoft visual C++ installed but so far ...
