I have updated the installers at the top of this link with:
2025.2.1.145 (12-Aug-2025)
- Added the option to select the Force Tone Matching and Premultiplied Alpha settings when saving a multi-layer EXR
- Implemented a number of fixes related to nodeGraph material issues
Thanks

Thanks Max
Glad it sorted out your issue. I will do a full release of this version in the next few days.

Re: UI Window Feature
Unfortunately this is not possible. There are too many things you can do in the nodegraph that would break the Poser plugin tree structure - sorry.I would like to edit the render target using the node-graph feature. Or possibly the whole scene. It's just more fluid than using tabs.

Re: UI Window Feature
Seems like it was some kind of glitch. I can't seem to recreate it. But it did work. It looks like there is a bug in the plugin nodegraph code where if you open the nodegraph a second time, it is referring to the first nodegraph, which may not exist anymore. This is something I need to fix - it is ...

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Rhino (TEST and STABLE)
Hi Max
I have heard back from OTOY, and spent a lot of time on this. If I start Rhino and add a sphere and add your HDR file as a Texture Environment, the curves match. But there is something in your scene which is causing the curves to not match. If I start Rhino, add a sphere, add your HDR as a ...

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Rhino (TEST and STABLE)
Thanks Max. I feel like we are going around in circles a little with this.
If you save the current render in Octane Standalone to EXR 32 bit, it defaults:
- Force Tone Mapping to OFF
- Premultiplied Alpha to ON
But if you Export Renderpasses in Octane Standalone to EXR 32, it defaults:
- Force ...

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Rhino (TEST and STABLE)
Hi Paul,
That would not solve my problem, as the type of output from Standalone is what I need. I need a way to save the render from Rhino that gives the same result Standalone does. The HDR range is necessary for my current project, and going through Standalone all the time is a lot of extra ...

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Rhino (TEST and STABLE)
Hi Max
I was able to get a closer match by saving in Octane Standalone with Force Tone Mapping ENABLED and Premultiplied Alpha DISABLED. Does that work for you? The Rhino plugin is saving with these settings as they are the defaults in the Octane SDK, but I see that they are not the defaults in ...

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Rhino (TEST and STABLE)
Hi Paul,
Unfortunately it did not, I still get the same cutoff at the end of the SDR range as before. Do you get the same result using my test files? I would not want to rule out a rhino settings issue yet.
In PS I open the EXR and press ctrl+alt+a to open the camera RAW editor. Top right It ...

Re: OctaneRender 2025 for Rhino (TEST and STABLE)
Hi Max
I found an issue when saving to EXR in that the Linear option was saving to sRGB, and the Tonemapped option was saving as Linear. I have fixed this in the test release below. Can you please tell me if it resolves your issue?
