You could try under-clocking your GPU with something like MSI afterburner or something, or making sure your GPU Fan and heatsink is dust free and there is good airflow through your case and enough space in front of the GPU's fan.

Hi,
Here are the steps:
1) Set the camera to panoramic
2) Set the projection to cube map
3) Enable side-by-side stereo
4) Set the resolution to Virtual reality -> GearVR stereo cube map (18432 x 1536).
5) Save as 8bpc PNG
6) Put your phone into the gearvr and wait for the oculus app to start.

Yes, the 2.x licenses are backwards compatible with any version of octane, and the release posts are never removed from the forum.

You may find that compiling the scene and sending it to the GPU (and any network transfers if your using network rendering) will take longer than 5s so you may also end up limited by CPU and network speed.

Disabling firewall was one of the first things to do so this option is checked.
In the update it says the it can't connect to the server.
Since C4D cannot connect to it's update servers this definitely means it's not an octane problem.
Something is stopping C4D from connecting to the internet ...
